  • A „short“ bike tour to the aqueduct ☺️ [Day #6]

Yay, the bikes are off the rack. let's go!
Oh, wait :-/ how did that happen?
The next bike shop is just a 36min walk away. 36min at 36 degrees celcius - no problem, right?
They fixed Jenna's bike right away. We quickly went to the organic grocery store that happened to be next door to buy some food :D
On our way back ...
Quick break and then .. off to the aqueduct! Jenna didn't think my sun protection outifit was a good idea ...
... so she proposed i wear hear skirt over my neck :D

satisfaction. and that actually did the job well, so i was happy as well:)

and finally arrived at the (remains) of the aqueduct.

jenna giving directions to a snake (yes, we did see one)
did i mentiom it was hot? i made a turban from our scarf, to protect my head from the sun.
the ride back was brutal (as you can see in my eyes). it took us about an hour and we had to learn to multiply googles projections by two, to get a realistic eta. lots of uphill riding with the sun right in our faces.

We got home just in time for dinner to soothe our grumpy selves a bit ... and then crashed on the couch for the rest of the evening.
